Dr. Wyzscx Patacxil started Mobile Health Providers during the COVID-19 pandemic, when homebound and elderly patients across Southern California were cut off from their physicians. Wounds went untreated and chronic conditions went unmanaged. Rather than wait for those patients to reach a clinic, he went to them, building a practice around a single idea: patients should never have to choose between staying safe at home and getting the medical care they need.

Over more than 13 years in practice, his clinical work has centered on the patients the traditional system reaches least well: people who are homebound, mobility-limited, or living in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. As a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP), credentialed by the American Board of Wound Management, he brings advanced wound care, primary care, and chronic care management to the bedside, treating the whole patient rather than a single problem in isolation.

His training includes general surgery at Loma Linda University, and wound care has become both his clinical specialty and his teaching focus: he lectures nationally on wound care and trains physicians, nurses, and other clinicians in modern wound management. He is a longtime believer in health care technology, which is why his practice runs on tools like near-infrared tissue-oxygenation imaging, low-frequency ultrasound, and purpose-built documentation software. His interests extend beyond medicine into real estate and early-stage startup investing.

He also writes the Mobile Health Providers education library, translating Medicare coverage rules, wound-healing science, and chronic disease management into resources for both the patients and caregivers he serves and the referring clinicians he works alongside.
