A house call practice born in a pandemic.
MHP started in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Doctor's offices were closing or restricting visits. Patients, especially the elderly and homebound, were stuck at home with no way to see their physicians. Wounds went untreated. Chronic conditions went unmanaged. People who could have been helped with a simple visit ended up in the hospital instead.
Dr. Patacxil saw this happening and started making house calls. What began as a response to a crisis became something bigger: a practice built around the idea that patients should never have to choose between staying safe at home and getting the medical care they need.
Today, MHP brings together wound care, primary care, ongoing care management, and a network of home-based partners to keep patients where they belong: at home, with their families. The pandemic created the need. The results proved the model works.

Dr. Wyzscx Patacxil, MD, CWSP
Dr. Patacxil started MHP during the pandemic after seeing what happened when homebound patients lost access to their physicians. Years of experience in primary care and wound care taught him that the patients who needed help the most were often the hardest to reach. So he went to them.
He focuses on patients who fall through the cracks of the traditional healthcare system, building treatment plans that fit the patient's life rather than the other way around.
